What gets redirected, and how to check it

The ox_lib and QBX integrations redirect supported single-action E-key prompts, in formats such as these:

[E] Open
E - Open
Press [E] to open
Press E to open
~g~E~w~ - Open

They intentionally leave the following in the original interface:

  • Informational text without an E interaction.
  • ALT and ox_target prompts.
  • Multi-key help text, such as BACKSPACE + E + DEL.
  • Any text that cannot be interpreted as one clear E-key action.

Verifying a bridge after installing it

  1. Enter a zone that shows a supported prompt such as [E] Open. Only the jex_interactions HUD should be visible.
  2. Leave the zone: the prompt must disappear.
  3. Test informational text without an E key: it must stay in its original UI.
  4. Test an ALT or ox_target prompt: it must stay in its original UI.
  5. Stop jex_interactions while an ox_lib prompt is open: the native TextUI should be restored.
  6. Set the relevant interception option to false, restart the server and confirm that the original UI is used.
